Lilly Meikle
Artist & Art Psychotherapist

Trained in Art Psychotherapy at Roehampton University, Lilly discovered that painting not only supported her own self-reflection but also deepened her understanding of the therapeutic process. Her art practice and psychotherapy work are closely intertwined—each informing the other.

With over four years’ experience supporting children, young people, and adults through bereavement, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. Lilly works with a psychodynamic and trauma-informed approach, using creativity as a powerful tool for connection and emotional processing.

Her artwork has been exhibited in galleries across London and the South East, and she currently runs weekly art workshops as artist-in-residence at Riverstone Living in Fulham and Kensington. Lilly’s practice continues to evolve at the intersection of art and therapy, offering spaces of reflection, connection, and renewal.

“Whatever pain you can’t get rid of, make it your creative offering.”
― Susan Cain, Bittersweet: How Sorrow and Longing Make Us Whole
